About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technology Risk and Controls Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in risk management and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of the Technology Controls Library and support key stakeholders with expert guidance.
  • Own, coordinate, and operate control oversight activities, including scheme attestations and annual control testing schedules.
  • Inform and support key stakeholders to make risk-based decisions.
  • Communicate at an advanced level and positively challenge and enable key stakeholders in discharging their accountabilities in relation to risk management.
  • Work under own initiative to plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures, ensuring they align with organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and manage risk.
  • Understand business context, needs, rules, and architecture, as well as organizational structure.
  • Experience in assurance activity, including control testing, of key controls.
  • Experience of cyber-related risks and issues, leveraging the NIST framework.
  • Practiced in policy, standards, and process reviews and adherence of first-line defense teams to these.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in risk management and controls.
  • Strong understanding of technology risk and governance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with the NIST framework and control testing.
