About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Risk and Controls Manager to join our team at Change Digital – Digital & Tech Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing controls and risk management leadership to enable our colleagues to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control Oversight: Own, coordinate, and operate a variety of control oversight activities, including the delivery of scheme attestations and annual control testing schedules.
  • Process Improvement: Research, transform, and improve existing practices to enhance our control environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and drive responses to attestation and Due Diligence requirements, providing expert guidance to key stakeholders.
  • Consultancy and Expertise: Provide consultancy and expertise on Control Design and Operating practices, informing and supporting key stakeholders to make risk-based decisions.
Requirements
  • Advanced Communication Skills: Communicate at an advanced level, positively challenging and enabling key stakeholders in discharging their accountabilities in relation to Risk Management.
  • Initiative and Planning: Work under own initiative to plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Policies and Procedures: Monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures, ensuring they align with organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, prioritize, and manage risk.
  • Analysis and Recommendations: Analyze potential solutions and create recommendations based on expected benefits, costs, and overall value of the solution for key stakeholders.
  • Business Context: Understand business context, needs, rules, and architecture, as well as organizational structure.
  • Experience and Skills: Possess experience in assurance activity (including control testing) of key controls, review, assessment, and remediation of access management related controls, and experience of cyber-related risks and issues (leveraging NIST framework).
  • Qualifications: Ideally hold a relevant or equivalent ISACA qualification (CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP) or be willing to work towards this.
