About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hygiene Operative to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing Equipment and Production Areas: Ensure all equipment and production areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to meet our high standards of cleanliness.
  • Stock Management and Reporting: Monitor and report on stock levels to aid the Hygiene Team Leader in maintaining a fully stocked inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain open and effective communication with the Hygiene Team Leader and other team members to ensure seamless collaboration and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Hygiene-Based Role: Proven experience working in a hygiene-based role, with a strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Health and Safety Certification: Possess a valid Health and Safety Level 2 certification.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of food safety principles and practices.
  • COSHH Awareness: Be familiar with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Be able to work independently for periods of time, with minimal supervision.
