Sanitation Technician

Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 5am to 5pm, rotating to Thursday, Friday, Saturday after six weeks, with a requirement to work every other Sunday.

Compensation: Day shift pay starts at £11.58 per hour, increasing to £14.06 per hour upon achieving the necessary skill level. Overtime is compensated at a rate of 1.25 times the standard rate after 36 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of all factory resources and areas, adhering to high hygiene standards.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning products and techniques to ensure effective sanitation.
• Report inventory levels to assist the Hygiene Team Leader in maintaining adequate supplies.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standards and within scheduled timelines.
• Exercise discretion while working in sensitive areas containing confidential information.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Complete necessary documentation accurately.
• Communicate regularly with the Hygiene Team Leader as needed.

Candidate Profile:

While comprehensive training will be provided, we seek candidates with the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in a sanitation role is essential.
• Health & Safety Level 2 certification.
• Food Safety Level 2 certification.
• Awareness of COSHH regulations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks on-site.
• Ability to follow written instructions meticulously.
• Strong attention to detail to meet cleanliness and inspection standards.
• Capability to work independently for extended periods.
