About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join our team at RPS Group. As a key member of our occupational health team, you will be responsible for managing a team of OHAs who analyze and report on health surveillance and fitness for work assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of remote OHAs through supportive and effective coaching, using an engaging and motivational line management style.
  • Work closely with the Resource Management team, Operational Management Team, Business Development Team, Clinical Governance Team, and your team members to ensure high standards of clinical practice, clinical governance, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead the analysis of health surveillance results, including audiometry, spirometry, and HAVS, and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Support the health surveillance reporting team with some clinical analysis, approximately 60% of your time.
  • Manage workflow and utilization of an occupational health nurse team.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse on the NMC Register, holding a post-registration qualification in OH.
  • Experienced in all aspects of OH service delivery, including health service delivery, fitness for work, and screening procedures.
  • Robust clinical governance attitude and leads by example to their team and the business.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to chair regular team meetings.
  • Approachable style and easy to connect with.
  • Pragmatic approach and strong decision-making ability.
  • Management qualification at certificate level or above desirable but not essential, or managerial experience desired.
  • High degree of self-motivation and management.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Teams, or equivalent.
  • Strong team player and able to lead by example.
  • Full UK driving license and able to travel with some occasional overnight stays.
