Occupational Health Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our team at RPS Occupational Health. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a critical role in delivering top-tier services to our clients, encompassing case management, health surveillance, screening, and health promotion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive Occupational Health services to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and preventing adverse health effects arising from workplace activities.
  • Coordinate defined OH activities, including health service delivery, fitness for work, and screening procedures.
  • Interpret health surveillance results, including audiometry, spirometry, and HAVS.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a robust clinical governance attitude and chairing regular team meetings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse on the NMC Register, holding a post-registration qualification in OH.
  • Experience in all aspects of OH service delivery, including health service delivery, fitness for work, and screening procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to chair regular team meetings.
  • Approachable and easy to connect with, with a pragmatic approach and strong decision-making ability.
  • Management qualification at certificate level or above desirable but not essential.
  • High degree of self-motivation and management, with strong organisational skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Teams or equivalent.
  • Strong team player, able to lead by example and work collaboratively with others.
