About the Role

RPS Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to lead our team of health professionals in delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality health surveillance, health screening, and fitness for work medicals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of occupational health advisors in providing expert advice and guidance on health surveillance and fitness for work assessments.
  • Develop and implement effective clinical governance strategies to ensure the highest standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and optimal resource utilization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement to drive business success.
  • Provide coaching and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse on the NMC Register, holding a post-registration qualification in Occupational Health.
  • Proven experience in occupational health service delivery, including health surveillance, fitness for work, and screening procedures.
  • Strong clinical governance attitude and ability to lead by example.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to chair regular team meetings.
  • Approachable and easy to connect with, with a pragmatic approach and strong decision-making ability.
  • Management qualification at certificate level or above desirable, but not essential.
