Role Overview:

Boyes Turner, a distinguished law firm recognised in both the Legal 500 and Chambers guides, is seeking a highly skilled Head of Marketing and Business Development to join its senior management team. This strategic role requires the successful candidate to contribute to the firm's ambitious growth plans and drive forward its business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and agree the business development and marketing strategy to support the firm's business objectives.
  • Prepare and manage the marketing and business development budget throughout the year.
  • Continuously develop sector-driven business development opportunities.
  • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Oversee and manage tenders, bids, and beauty parades to secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to enhance the firm's online presence.
  • Manage the firm's PR and marketing activities, including articles, press releases, awards submissions, website development, and maintenance.
  • Oversee the production of relevant publications, events, and internal communications.
  • Develop and maintain a strong marketing database to support business development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successful business development and marketing experience in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective marketing and business development strategies.
  • Proficiency in e-marketing tools, including Interaction or similar.
