Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Buyers Assistant to join our Softlines department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing critical path management, supplier approvals, and sourcing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage critical path management for the Softlines department, ensuring timely approvals and comments.
  • Own and manage an own bought range, sourcing and negotiating prices in line with department BIM targets.
  • Contribute to the department strategy by identifying risks and opportunities, supported by data.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global competitors, analyzing their product ranges and presenting findings to the team.
  • Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the wider Business Strategy and its impact on the department.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience at Assistant Buyer level, ideally within a baby/childrenswear setting.
  • A passion for retail and a desire to work and develop within a buying role.

Location
