We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior/Trainee Buyer to join our team and support our growing operations.

As a Junior/Trainee Buyer, you will be integral to our procurement team, assisting in the sourcing and purchasing of plumbing materials for our new build projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop skills in procurement while contributing to the successful completion of high-quality installations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in sourcing and purchasing plumbing goods and materials required for new build projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to understand material requirements and timelines.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and innovative products.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, and inventory levels.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in in computer use / programs.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is a plus but not essential.
