About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Business Development Director to join our growing team at Northgate Vehicle Hire Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our vehicle rental solutions to businesses across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the light commercial vehicle market.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals to clients, highlighting the benefits of our vehicle rental solutions.
  • Work closely with our centralised support hub to prepare and deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, with a realistic OTE of £70,000 and top performers reaching £77,500.

  • A competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, enhanced by a fantastic commission scheme.

About You
  • You have a proven track record in B2B sales, with significant success in generating new accounts.
  • You have a resourceful and tenacious approach to building your pipeline, with a well-developed toolkit of lead-generation approaches.
  • You understand that one size does not fit all, and can develop personalised, multi-product/service offerings to deliver the perfect solution to clients.
  • You take pride in being an ambassador for your brand, and can develop a detailed picture of your local marketplace to identify new opportunities.
  • You have expertise in the light commercial market or contract hire sectors, although this is not essential.
