A leading independent insurance brokerage, Philip Gibbs Insurance Brokers, is seeking a skilled and experienced commercial insurance professional to join their team as an Account Director.

As an Account Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients and developing new business opportunities in the commercial insurance sector. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and providing expert insurance advice to ensure their needs are met.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a book of business and developing a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, including FCA regulations
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to deliver excellent customer service and insurance advice
  • Attending local business networking events to build relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Liaising with account handlers to provide support and guidance

Requirements for the role include:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grade A-C
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, with at least 2 years in an account executive role
  • Good organisational skills and time management
  • Fluent with Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Full driving licence and own car
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
