About the Role

Alexander Steele Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Development Manager to join a world-renowned, global spirits company. This exciting opportunity will involve managing a portfolio of customer accounts to meet and exceed budgeted volume and value sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and groups within your territory, becoming the go-to supplier.
  • Business Development: Proactively seek out new business opportunities to grow the company's on-trade customer base.
  • Market Insights: Understand and deliver insight to the business on weekly and monthly customer performance, drive action from this and deliver incremental growth.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop excellent product knowledge and be critically aware of all market trends across beers, wines, and spirits.
  • Team Collaboration: Train and educate outlet team members to deliver perfect serves and collaborate to create new and exciting cocktails, delivering increased ROS.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience in sales, marketing, or related field within the On-Trade.
  • Brands Drinks Experience: Experience with brands drinks and use in cocktails would be advantageous.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and effectively organize own work schedule.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial/financial understanding, together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance, recommending appropriate actions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
