Alexander Steele Recruitment is working exclusively on an exciting opportunity with a world-renowned, global spirits company.

Role Overview

  • This role focuses on managing On-Trade customer relationships and includes account management, with some business development.
  • Field-based position with 1-2 days per week working from home.
  • Competitive salary up to £38K (dependent on experience) + car allowance + 10% bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to meet and exceed budgeted volume and value sales.
  • Differentiate the client's brands by creating and executing innovative in-outlet activation strategies to secure maximum visibility.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities to grow the on-trade customer base.
  • Provide weekly and monthly customer performance insights to the business, drive action, and deliver incremental growth.
  • Ensure accurate internal communication regarding promotions, activations, and changes to distribution.
  • Cross-functional collaboration within the UK business and international departments.
  • Develop in-depth product knowledge and stay up-to-date on market trends across beers, wines, and spirits.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, or a related field within the On-Trade.
  • Brands drinks experience and knowledge of cocktails would be advantageous.
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding, together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance and recommend actions.
  • Ability to manage projects, multitask, and build strong relationships at all levels (internal and external).
  • Comfortable managing key accounts and building commercial relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Passionate about the spirits and beverage industry.
