Nursery Development Manager

Job Summary:
Dmar General Contracting & Development Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Nursery Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing our nurseries to achieve outstanding results and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage nursery teams to set strategic directions and improve nursery performance through outstanding leadership and innovative practices.
- Ensure high-quality care and education for children, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, including safeguarding practices.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve financial and operational targets.
- Deploy to nurseries as required to lead and operate the setting on a day-to-day basis for cover periods.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff, including induction, talent and succession planning, safeguarding, and CPD.
- Audit and monitor nursery performance, including quality audits, staff compliance, EY usage, statutory requirements audits, and health and safety audits.
- Manage incidents and provide coaching and mentoring to teams, including safeguarding incidents, field calls, investigations, and disciplinary action.
Requirements:
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Childcare qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years Early Years experience.
- Minimum of 2 years Nursery Manager experience.
- Experience in leading an Ofsted audit within the last 12 months.
- Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to a Good/Outstanding rating.
- Working expertise in Safeguarding and its application in Early Years environments.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and English qualification (GCSE minimum grade C/4 or equivalent).
- Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership.
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- Effective project management, delivering within time and budget constraints.
