Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. As a Recovery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive mental health assessments and developing personalized recovery plans for service users.
  • Coordinating and delivering therapeutic interventions, including CBT, psychosocial interventions, and family therapy.
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective risk management.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with service users, carers, and other stakeholders to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Participating in on-call rotas and contributing to the development of local safeguarding policies and procedures.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Current registration with the NMC or HCPC and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • A diploma level or degree in a relevant health profession.

  • A UK driving license with business insurance.
