About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Infrastructure Major Projects Leader to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of major infrastructure projects within the UK and Ireland.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, fostering collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for major infrastructure project pursuits within the UK and Ireland.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client service and project outcomes.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in alignment with AECOM's strategic objectives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector clients, and industry partners.
- Oversee the financial performance of major projects, ensuring profitability and adherence to budget constraints.
- Promote a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications & Experience
We are seeking an accomplished professional with a proven track record in leading major infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience managing complex infrastructure projects, including planning, design, construction, and commissioning.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A deep understanding of the UK and Irish infrastructure market.
- Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
