We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to fill the position of Infrastructure Major Projects Director. This role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of significant transportation infrastructure projects, identifying and pursuing business development opportunities, and maintaining and growing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of major transportation infrastructure projects, including pipeline management and project delivery.
- Identify, position, plan, and prioritize business development activities to drive growth and revenue.
- Maintain and enhance client relationships to ensure AECOM's position as a trusted partner in the major projects market.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful projects, leveraging the technical skills and capabilities within the Infrastructure subsector and wider AECOM team.
- Be a visible leader and trusted advisor, promoting AECOM's values and expertise within the major projects market.
- Build effective working relationships with the AECOM Work Winning/Business Development community to drive growth and revenue.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful multi-disciplinary bids.
- Apply AECOM Governance across all major project pursuits, ensuring compliance with delegated powers and processes.
- Experience in leading major transportation infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and preparing transportation project teams, with a strong understanding of project delivery and pipeline management.
- A proven ability to develop and grow client relationships, with a strong focus on client account management and major project pursuits.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder inputs and competing priorities.
- Experience of collaborative, cross-discipline working at various levels, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
