About the Role

As a Senior Campaign Executive at Canada Life, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of small to medium-sized marketing campaigns, as well as assisting with large and complex campaigns across multiple channels. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all campaign stages, from brief and ideation to execution and delivery, are completed to the highest standard and within the agreed-upon time, budget, and quality parameters.

Key Accountabilities
  • Campaign Development: Create, schedule, deploy, and promote high-quality marketing materials, including product literature, sales aids, online content, webinars, advertising, and social media content, drawing on internal and external creative and technical resources as needed.
  • Campaign Execution: Develop and execute medium to large-scale advertising and marketing campaigns from brief through to delivery, on and offline, across multiple channels, including media advertising, email, direct mail, social media, and paid search.
  • Campaign Leadership: Lead the end-to-end delivery of small and medium-sized campaign activity, ensuring that all marketing collateral and literature developed on and offline are approved by relevant stakeholders and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders, including the wider Marketing team, Sales, Proposition, and Compliance, as well as external partners, such as PR agencies, to ensure seamless campaign execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Performance Analysis: Undertake reviews of marketing activity using analysis and MI reporting, including Google Analytics, email MI, and other ad hoc reporting, to establish campaign effectiveness, key learnings, and pursue a culture of continual improvement.
Requirements
  • Marketing Experience: Practical experience in a marketing communications role, including experience of leading the end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns, interpreting data and marketing analytics tools, and basic knowledge of digital marketing methods.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience of marketing systems, such as CMS, Google Analytics, marketing automation, and email software.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Degree-level education and marketing qualification, such as CIM or equivalent.
