Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Youth Worker to join our team at Milk Education. As a Youth Worker, you will work closely with children who have challenging behavior or social, emotional, and mental health needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and guidance to these students, helping them to develop motivation and self-belief both personally and academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with children who have challenging behavior or social, emotional, and mental health needs
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them develop motivation and self-belief
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized plans for students
  • Lead groups of young adults in a school or outside setting
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or adults in a school or outside setting
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
