About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Youth Support Worker to join our team at Pennine Care NHS FT. As a key member of our community-based eating disorder service, you will play a vital role in supporting young people and their families to achieve positive health and well-being outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to assessment and treatment interventions with young people presenting with an eating disorder.
  • Communicate effectively with young people, families, and carers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Observe and record actions and behaviour, providing support to young people to communicate their needs and views.
  • Provide information and support to enable service users to engage in education, employment, and vocational activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver interventions and promote recovery.
  • Contribute to service evaluation and development, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
Requirements
  • Psychology degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in CAMHS or a similar setting.
  • Desirable: experience working with eating disorders, CAMHS experience.
