Private Client Tax Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Tax Director to lead our Private Client team in the South Coast region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality private client tax advice and compliance services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the Private Client team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service.
- Strategy and Budgeting: Contribute to the development of strategic plans and budgets, ensuring the team's goals and objectives are aligned with the company's overall vision.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, identifying opportunities to support their business needs and growth.
- Business Development: Collaborate with other service lines to target and win high net worth individuals and large Privately Owned Businesses, driving business growth and revenue.
- Tax Risk Management: Identify and manage tax risk within the private client portfolio, ensuring compliance with quality and risk procedures.
- Knowledge Sharing: Support the wider National private client tax teams in relation to complex issues, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive excellence.
- Learning and Development: Lead the development of the Poole tax team, mentoring, training, and supporting team members to achieve their full potential.
Requirements
- Professional Qualification: Hold a relevant professional qualification, such as CTA or similar.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of building internal and external relationships and networks, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrates broad and strong technical tax knowledge and expertise, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Business Acumen: Ability to think creatively, generate innovative ideas, and develop new initiatives and methodologies.
- Collaboration: Provides assistance, shares experience, and proactively supports the development of others, taking ownership of projects and delegating effectively.
