Role Overview

This is a part-time position requiring 21 hours per week.

We are seeking a dedicated Helpline Services Volunteer Officer to enhance our award-winning MS Helpline.

The Helpline operates from 9:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday, and we are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced individual to assist our committed Helpline Volunteers and Befriending Volunteers.

This role involves flexible hours and participation in our Helpline team rota, with potential working patterns of 9:00–17:00, 10:00–18:00, or 11:00–19:00 from Monday to Friday to accommodate service and volunteer requirements.

If you are passionate about delivering high-quality information and emotional support and possess relevant Helpline experience, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

You will provide ongoing support to all volunteers within the Helpline team, playing a vital role in delivering information and assistance to our Helpline enquirers, addressing both proactive and reactive inquiries on relevant topics impacting the MS community.
