About the Role:

Horizon Care and Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in our homes across the Yorkshire region. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support young people with morning routines, including getting ready for school and preparing healthy meals.
  • Encourage and facilitate hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and help young people learn new skills.
  • Work collaboratively with a small team to deliver relationship-based, person-centred care.
  • Participate in reflective practice and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Support young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities.

Requirements:
  • A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
