About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Coordinator to join our team at Macfarlane Packaging. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the seamless progression of orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all sales administration and customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our internal systems.
  • Handle customer queries and orders while maintaining exceptional levels of customer service at all times.
  • Proactively develop existing accounts by identifying and seizing opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling across our product portfolio.
  • Dealing with incoming customer queries and providing advice and solutions.
  • Undertake outbound activity to help identify and target new customers.
  • Working closely with and supporting the external sales team.
  • Administration of sales orders/quotations, ensuring customer delivery dates are met.
  • Regular use of our internal CRM system.
  • Closely liaising with internal departments such as logistics and procurement.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similarly fast-paced sales or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Commercial awareness and target-driven approach.
  • Packaging industry experience would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
