Job Title: Category Manager – Engineering

Job Summary:

Bramwith Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Category Manager – Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for managing the Professional Services and Engineering categories within indirect procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to deliver value and provide a commercially competitive edge across both Professional Services and Engineering related spend.
  • Tender Management: Manage end-to-end tender processes, including negotiation and contract management.
  • Supplier and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal functions and regional/international suppliers to drive cost savings, optimize services, and reduce risk.
  • Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and performance manage contracts with strategic suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Procurement Experience: Strong functional procurement experience managing categories across multiple geographies, including negotiation of contracts across technical, commercial, and legal.
  • Category Management: Experience working with Professional Services and Engineering categories to drive cost savings, optimize services, and reduce risk.
  • Commercial Acumen: Good commercial acumen, understanding of the business context to make sound judgments and recommendations.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using SAP, Ariba would be preferable.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills.
