Job Title: Category Manager - Engineering & Professional Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our global procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Professional Services and Engineering categories within indirect procurement, driving cost savings and optimizing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver value and provide a commercially competitive edge across Professional Services and Engineering related spend.
- Manage end-to-end strategic sourcing, tender management, negotiation, and contract management.
- Collaborate with internal functions and manage Regional/International supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Develop, negotiate, and performance manage contracts with strategic suppliers.
Requirements:
- Strong functional procurement experience managing categories across multiple geographies, including negotiation of contracts.
- Experience working with Professional Services and Engineering categories to drive cost savings and optimize services.
- Good commercial acumen and understanding of the business context to make sound judgments and recommendations.
- Experience using SAP, Ariba, or similar procurement systems.
- Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders and develop relationships as a trusted business partner.
- Degree qualified and/or proven experience in procurement.
