As a Trainee Property Manager, you will receive:

  • £17,500 plus commission.
  • Professional training and development.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and resolving maintenance issues by urgency and importance.
  • Maintaining high standards of communication with landlords and tenants.
  • Conducting and analysing property inspection reports and liaising with the landlord to provide relevant advice.
  • Booking checkouts, analysing reports, and processing documentation in line with company processes.
  • Managing end-of-tenancy returns for a managed client portfolio.
  • Negotiating dilapidation compensation for the landlords of a managed client portfolio.
  • Checking invoices received against works orders and arranging payment to contractors.
  • Managing the tenancy renewal process for the landlord and tenant.
  • Monitoring any rent arrears, chasing payments, and updating landlords promptly.
  • Preparing and serving legal notices.
  • Deposit returns.

We are looking for:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good personal presentation and conduct.
  • Good IT knowledge.
  • Good general administration and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships within the internal network and with customers.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
