Leasehold Officer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Leasehold Officer to join our team at Michael Page Property & Construction. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for managing leaseholder and shared ownership properties, ensuring compliance with lease agreements and relevant legislation, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage leaseholder and shared ownership properties, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Ensure compliance with lease agreements and relevant legislation, including the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on leasehold matters, including residents, contractors, and local authorities
  • Prepare and present reports on property management activities, including budgeting and expenditure
  • Oversee service charge budgeting and expenditure, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Handle leaseholder enquiries and resolve disputes in a fair and timely manner
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures relating to leasehold management
Requirements:
  • Degree in Property Management or a related field
  • Solid understanding of leasehold management and property law, including the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993
  • High-level communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently, with a flexible and adaptable approach

  • A competitive salary ranging from £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
