Job Summary

We're seeking a dedicated Bank Support Worker to join our team in Truro

Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We support individuals living in their own homes in the Truro area, and we're looking for someone to join our team to provide flexible support.

As a Bank Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to work a variety of shifts that suit your lifestyle, including days, evenings, and weekends. You'll be working with people who value their independence and want to live a full life.

Don't worry if you don't have experience - we provide full training to help you develop the skills you need. All we ask is that you're willing to learn, flexible, and have a can-do attitude.

Our support is tailored to each individual's needs and preferences, which may include developing daily living skills, assisting with personal care and medication, and accessing the local community for socialising and hobbies.

A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Benefits:

  • Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (basic salary £12.27 p/h)
  • Full training to gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate
  • Time to complete training is paid
  • We cover the cost of DBS checks
  • Rota's are planned in advance
  • Successfully 'recommend a friend' to join us and you'll receive a thank-you payment

Your responsibilities:

  • To develop daily living skills
  • Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships
  • To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support
