Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Do you enjoy a job where every day is unique and challenging? We support individuals living in their own homes in the Truro area, and we're looking for someone to join our team as a Bank Support Worker.

As a Bank Support Worker, you'll have the flexibility to choose your shifts, working days, evenings, or weekends. You'll be part of a team that provides person-centred support, helping individuals develop daily living skills, accessing their communities, and pursuing their interests.

Experience is not essential, as we provide comprehensive training. What we're looking for is a willingness to learn, a can-do attitude, and a desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Our support is tailored to each individual's needs, values, and preferences. This may include assisting with personal care, medication, and accessing local communities for socialising and hobbies.

A full, manual, UK driving licence is required for this role.

Benefits:

  • Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (basic salary £12.27 p/h)
  • Full training to gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate
  • Time to complete training is paid
  • We cover the cost of DBS checks
  • Rota's are planned in advance
  • Successfully 'recommend a friend' to join us and you'll receive a thank-you payment

Your Responsibilities:

  • To develop daily living skills
  • Support the individuals we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training, or friendships
  • To contribute to, develop, and implement the individuals' care plans
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with individuals we support, their family members, and external professionals
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support
