Position Overview
The Human Resources and Organizational Development (HR & OD) division delivers a unified and extensive HR & OD service throughout the organization. This division is dedicated to assisting senior management and team leaders in the recruitment, retention, deployment, and development of the workforce, while also formulating and executing HR & OD policies and practices that foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
The HR & OD division will also establish formal collaborative agreements with recognized labor unions and ensure that the workforce is rewarded through compensation and benefits in accordance with applicable laws, governance, and employment terms.
Key Responsibilities
This full-time internship offers a unique opportunity to acquire new skills and gain valuable experience within the NHS framework. The internship spans a duration of 8 months and encompasses a range of responsibilities including project assistance, data management, and administrative support, among other collaborative tasks.
You will receive guidance from our newly established Employee Relations team and be paired with a dedicated mentor throughout the internship. This mentorship will provide you with the chance to explore the HR field and gain practical experience, facilitating your professional development and career progression.
This role is part of a vibrant team committed to delivering effective services that support managers and staff in relation to Employee Relations responsibilities.

About Our Division
The HR & OD division is committed to providing a comprehensive HR & OD service across the organization. It plays a crucial role in supporting senior leaders and line managers in various aspects of workforce management, including recruitment, retention, and development, while also ensuring the implementation of effective HR & OD policies that promote a healthy and inclusive work environment.
The Employee Relations team consists of specialists who collaborate with managers and staff to offer guidance and coaching on the application of Employee Relations policies, support attendance reviews, and manage employee relations cases.
This internship opportunity within our Employee Relations team is designed to lead with empathy, ensuring that employees feel valued and have access to the necessary tools and resources for their professional growth.
