The Role

We're seeking a Retail Crew member to join our team in Falmouth. As a key part of our retail development path, this role is critical to driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Create engaging customer relationships through genuine interactions and a passion for the ocean.
    • Communicate our product range authentically through personal experience and technical knowledge.
    • Provide openness and honesty in all situations, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
    • Build a loyal customer base and positive relationships throughout the Finisterre community.
  • Commercial
    • Contribute to the commercial success of the store through delivering sale targets and KPIs.
    • Exceed customers' expectations and maximise sales potential through our multi-channel offer.
    • Contribute to the timely execution of all launches, promotions, and campaigns in store.
  • Operations
    • Optimise conversion through ensuring visual merchandising and presentation guidelines are followed.
    • Maintain high security through service, shop floor awareness, and adherence to security measures.
    • Ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to at all times.
    • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the store and back of house.
    • Ensure the shop floor is always fully stocked through effective use of our replenishment systems.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations, seeking better practices and feeding back to store managers.
  • People
    • Actively participate in the team by helping others and building positive relationships throughout the store.
    • Be responsible for own personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement.
    • Adhere to all current policy and procedure laid out by Finisterre.
    • Bring our values to life.
Requirements
  • You share our love of the ocean and our brand values.
  • You're a people person with a genuine interest in talking to others and building relationships.
  • You're self-motivated and proactive in your own personal development, education, and training.
  • You're willing to take on new and ad hoc tasks when required.
  • You have previous experience in a customer-focused role.
  • You have a strong understanding of exceptional customer service.
  • You have knowledge of retail operations.
