About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to join our client's property services division. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for managing a team of commercial surveyors, approving sub-contractors and supplier payments, and overseeing cost planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 3-4 commercial surveyors to ensure efficient and effective delivery of commercial services
  • Approve sub-contractors and supplier payments to ensure timely and accurate payment
  • Oversee cost planning to ensure accurate and up-to-date cost estimates
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and implement commercial strategies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in the construction or property services industry
  • Proven track record of managing commercial teams and overseeing cost planning
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
