Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and Developing Managers: Enhance leadership capabilities and ensure effective team management.
  • Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and guidance on complex ER cases, focusing on resolution and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Talent Management: Drive programs to enhance leadership and management capabilities, increase talent density, and promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Organization Health: Evaluate employee sentiment and provide guidance to improve overall team effectiveness and organizational health.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, navigating complexities and influencing effectively to drive HR initiatives.
  • Understanding and Application of the Culture: Develop a deep understanding of the AGR business and culture, serving as a role model and advocate for our values.
  • HR Generalist Duties: Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the HR team.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a HR Business Partner in the financial services industry, preferably insurance.
  • Knowledge of UK financial services regulations, particularly SM&CR and Conduct Rules.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to build effective partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Commercial mindset and ability to manage firm risk with best-in-class Human Capital solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver difficult messages with confidence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in project management and execution skills to drive HR initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure with strong organizational skills.
  • Trusted advisor to senior management, with the ability to coach, motivate, and direct employees and managers to meet desired objectives.
  • Exercise good judgment, a high level of integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
