Medsolve is partnering with an esteemed organization to find a dedicated College Tutor - Functional Skills/Maths to deliver high-quality, autism-specific educational experiences that empower students to reach their full potential.

This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary of £25-£35 per hour. Please note that sponsorship is not provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the smooth daily operation of the college, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of educational programs.
  • Develop and implement autism-specific curriculum content, addressing individual learner needs and ensuring effective differentiation.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Individual Learning Plans and utilize them to inform session planning.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate student learning, incorporating initial, formative, and summative assessments to inform curriculum development.
  • Embed Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT throughout the curriculum, where applicable.
  • Create, share, and monitor learner targets aligned with Individual Learning Plans and learner needs.
  • Provide subject reports detailing student progress and achievements for internal reviews and external bodies.
  • Deliver high-quality Numeracy sessions from pre-entry to Level 2, ensuring coordinated and effective learning experiences.
  • Participate in student recruitment and assessment, as well as arrangements for work placement locations, if required.
  • Liaise with partner schools, FE colleges, employers, and outside agencies/organizations.
  • Contribute to marketing activities, as needed.
