Functional Skills Educator

Medsolve is proud to partner with an organisation dedicated to providing high-quality education to students with autism. We are seeking a College Tutor for Functional Skills to deliver a tailored learning experience that enables students to reach their full potential.
This is a permanent role working term-time only, 32.5 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary of £25-£35 per hour. Please note that we do not offer sponsorship.
The successful candidate will participate in the coordination of daily college activities, ensuring the smooth running of the college. They will also develop an effective working knowledge of individual learning plans and ensure that curriculum delivery is differentiated and autism-specific.
The duties of the College Tutor include:
- Participating in the recruitment and assessment of students
- Delivering high-quality Numeracy sessions from pre-entry to Level 2
- Liaising with partner schools, FE colleges, employers, and outside agencies
- Assisting with arrangements for student placements and assessments
- Providing subject reports detailing student progress and achievements
