Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist - Facilities Management Provider

We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity to join a leading facilities management provider. CBW Staffing Solutions is in search of an electrical systems maintenance specialist to oversee operations at a significant commercial property. The successful candidate will report directly to the M&E Estates Manager and will possess a strong electrical background. Proven experience in maintaining commercial properties is essential for this ongoing role, which offers a competitive annual salary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and refurbishment tasks in line with established schedules to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to all statutory and relevant regulations, particularly those related to Health & Safety, COSHH, and Electrical IEE standards.
  • Perform fault diagnosis and corrective actions on plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Engage in sampling and maintenance of potable water services, including regular hygiene checks.
  • Oversee the upkeep of electrical systems, including repairs and maintenance of mechanical and electrical installations.
  • Identify and escalate any issues that may impact the safety, security, or functionality of the facilities.
  • Provide technical support and input for various projects and initiatives.
  • Assist the maintenance team with additional planned preventative maintenance and related tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises and review completed works and service contracts.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service skills.
  • Complete projects to a high standard, demonstrating the ability to self-review and identify faults upon completion.
Working Hours
  • 4 on 4 off DAY SHIFT only
  • 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM

Candidate Requirements
  • Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 certifications.
  • Ability to provide copies of relevant trade qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial property maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills.
