Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of our care home facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, painting, and unblocking sinks and toilets.
  • Conduct daily room checks, weekly fire alarm tests, and monthly tap temperature tests as part of our preventative maintenance program.
  • Escalate any electrical or plumbing work beyond basic tasks and upload data onto our company system.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Current Adult Enhanced DBS Certificate with Adult Barred list, issued within the last 12 months or be willing to have a new DBS completed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
