Strategic Growth Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at ZYTCA Animal Health. As an EU Business Development Manager, your primary goal will be to expand our market presence across the European Union, particularly in the UK, Spain, Germany, and Denmark.
This is a pivotal role in driving our company's growth and expansion in the EU market. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and partnerships that align with our company's strategic goals in the EU market.
Key Responsibilities- Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop effective strategies to expand our market presence in the EU.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business leads, establish collaborative research or commercial projects, and build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients and customers.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage various business development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with company objectives and timelines.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies and materials to promote our products and technologies in the EU market.
- Market Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the veterinary diagnostic market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the EU, using this information to inform strategic decisions.
- Business Strategies: Ability to gather relevant market information and make evidence-based business strategies accordingly.
- B2B Expertise: Proven experience in Business-to-Business sales, particularly in the biotechnology or veterinary sector.
- Sales Prospecting: Skilled in identifying and developing new sales leads and opportunities.
- Lead Generation: Ability to generate leads that translate into tangible business growth.
- Opportunity Identification: Keen eye for recognizing and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- Customer Interaction: Strong interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions and relationship building.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the health biotech industry, particularly in veterinary diagnostics or vaccination.
- Event Participation: Experience in participating in exhibitions, trade shows, and other relevant industry events.
- Account Management: Proficient in managing client accounts and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Presentation Skills: Strong ability to create and deliver engaging presentations to a variety of stakeholders.
- Educational Background: Educational background in veterinary medicine, veterinary sciences, other STEM areas, or MBA.
- Start-up Experience: Experience of working in an early-stage biotech start-up.
- EU Regulations: Experience/knowledge in EU veterinary regulations.
