Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our maternity operational workforce as a Maternity Administration Co-ordinator. This role will involve line management and leadership of a team of administration and clerical staff, working to support the Maternity, Gynaecology and Breast Division to achieve their operational and strategic targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of administration and clerical staff, taking operational responsibility for them and for the allocation of their work.
  • Develop, manage, and review staff and their working practices to ensure the delivery of an efficient service.
  • Work with senior management and clinical teams to coordinate administration pathways and associated administrative tasks.
  • Provide operational support to lead and develop services, in the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Support the operational team to promote and support quality improvement within maternity, seeking to improve services and experiences for staff and service users.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior management and clinical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
