Mental Health Transport Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK - Bases. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and respectful transportation services to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities- Transport patients to and from appointments, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during transportation
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient transportation
- Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- A competitive salary of £26,593.80 per annum, based on expected hours
- Enhanced pay of £1.20 extra per hour for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and for bed watch activities, supporting ward staff
