Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our team at DPDgroup. As a key member of our fleet operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the condition and roadworthiness of our vehicles, as well as providing support to our depot operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily checks on all fleet vehicles, including rental vehicles, to ensure they are in good condition and record the checks and condition via our vehicle app.
  • Check and ensure all 3.5 Tonne Vans vehicles do not exceed 3.5 Tonnes in weight using the weighbridge.
  • Identify and report any defects or damage found on vehicles, and ensure that they are rectified in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular site and equipment checks to ensure that our depot operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Provide support to our depot operations team, including conducting start of contract and end of contract handovers for Owner Driver leased vehicles.
  • Report any fleet accidents on our portal TranMan.

  • Ability to handle difficult situations and challenging conversations.
  • Able to work in a systematic, methodical, and orderly way, following all depot instructions and procedures, including all regulatory requirements.
  • Able to work on your own initiative and without close supervision.
