About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate doctor to join our medical team at Naomi House & Jacksplace, a leading children's hospice in the South of England. As a Palliative Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing medical input to patients receiving respite care, complex symptom management, or end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical input to patients and their families, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the development of our palliative care services, ensuring high-quality care for our patients.
  • Participate in on-call cover, visiting the hospice as required and being available by telephone for advice.
  • Collaborate with our medical team to ensure seamless care for our patients.
Requirements
  • Membership of either the RCGP or RCPCH.
  • Acute clinical and paediatric experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including on-call shifts and weekends.
