Key Leadership Role in QHSE Team

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our clients QHSE team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in promoting a positive HSE culture across site operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of QHSE in developing short, medium, and long-term risk reduction strategies for the business.
  • Identify and advise on the potential impact of new safety, health, and environment legislation.
  • Promote safe behaviours and visible safety leadership across the organisation.
  • Lead the Company's HSE team to ensure effective management systems, policies, and procedures are in place.
  • Provide support, training, and advice to accelerate and transfer knowledge.
  • Champion accident/incident prevention and loss control programmes.
  • Report, investigate, and follow up on undesirable events.
  • Ensure process safety and risk reduction reviews are routinely carried out.
  • Ensure appropriate QHSE resources are provided to control potential HSE risks.
  • Develop and maintain the QHSE management systems to defined standards.
  • Monitor compliance of key environmental, health, safety, and quality regulatory permit conditions and legislation requirements.
Requirements
  • A Science-based Degree or equivalent.
  • A postgraduate level HSE qualification.
  • Extensive HSE leadership experience with a broad technical base.
  • Previous experience working in High Hazard/COMAH type environments.
