Key Responsibilities

Ensure continuous access to a staff member responsible for upholding person-centered plans (including positive behavior support plans)
Maintain a strong focus on person-centered outcomes throughout the service.
Serve as a guide and advisor for all staff, adhering to structured support plans and collaborating with established clinical teams.
Ensure prescribed interventions are implemented, and care plans are co-developed with the individuals we support and their families.
Collect and analyze outcome data on a daily basis.
Promote and uphold the privacy, rights, dignity, health, and wellbeing of individuals.
Perform general housekeeping tasks, which may include shopping, domestic duties, and aspects of personal care to assist Service Users.

Role Requirements

To excel in this position, you should have a genuine interest in and commitment to the practice of clinical psychology as an applied science or possess career aspirations in a related field.
You should also be knowledgeable about current policy agendas related to person-centered practice, values-based practice, and the necessity for services to consistently focus on minimizing restrictive interventions.
Previous experience in services for individuals with Mental Health and Learning Disabilities is preferred.

All personnel working in a service registered with Care Inspectorate for Wales (CIW) will be required to register with Social Care Wales. You must also be willing to pursue the necessary qualifications to meet registration requirements.
