As a key member of the Exchange Street Claims & Financial Services team, you will play a vital role in managing domestic property claims from initial notification through to final settlement. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service by guiding policyholders through the claims process, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process domestic property claims efficiently and accurately, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Investigate claims to determine liability and policy coverage, utilizing your analytical skills to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with adjusters, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely claims resolution, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the process.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate claim reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations for settlement.
  • Negotiate settlements in line with company policies and procedures, taking into account the needs and concerns of policyholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all claims handled, ensuring that all relevant information is readily available for future reference.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with policyholders, adjusters, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple claims and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
