About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims Handler to join our Property Claims Division at Adjusting Appointments. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and technical claims handling expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of property claims, providing prompt and effective resolution to customers.
  • Work closely with our Field Adjusters to gather information, assess damage, and negotiate settlements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing clear communication and updates throughout the claims process.
  • Accurately record and maintain detailed records of claims, including daily time sheets and technical notes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless claims handling and resolution.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in property claims handling, with a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple claims simultaneously.
  • Relevant industry qualifications, such as Cert CILA or Cert CII, or a willingness to study towards these certifications.
