Motor Claims Handler Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Claims Handler to join our dynamic and collaborative Claims team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a portfolio of Motor Claims from first notification to settlement, ensuring service standards are met and/or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Motor Claims efficiently and effectively.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of claims, ensuring timely and regular communication with clients and insurers.
  • Provide high-quality claims information and reports to the broking department and clients as required.
  • Ensure complex claims are handled in accordance with group procedures.
  • Acknowledge all new claims to clients and insurers, and keep clients informed throughout the claims process.
  • Produce claims metrics and reports as needed.
  • Attend client meetings and present claims information as required.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements:

  • Robust Commercial Motor Insurance claims handling experience, with a strong understanding of insurance claims procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Acturis system knowledge (desirable, not essential), proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
