About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as an Information Management Specialist, working within a national policing unit to ensure safer communities in the UK and around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Public Access, Information Governance, and Audit teams to ensure compliance with legislation and national standards for information management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the organization's information management practices are aligned with best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Information Management and Data Protection Officer to ensure the organization's information management practices are effective and efficient.
  • Provide training and support to staff on information management practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Professional knowledge of the Data Protection Act and GDPR 2018, Human Rights Acts 1998, and privacy legislation.
  • Experience of training delivery and presentations.
  • Ability to present reports recommending improvements in processes and data recording to comply with national and local requirements.
  • Emotional awareness and ability to work in a team environment.
